  3. Oh dear tony, how little you know of the show! Glee indeed sometimes can be perceived as "cheesy". But never fake. Actually, Glee touches upon some very serious issues that we face every day, bullying, the need to "fit in", discrimination against gay people, and gay marriage, and equality issues as well. Sometimes, they do explore serious problems through light songs, and comedy, which is a way for people to relate. But in multiple episodes there have been many people around the world in tears because of how much the show affected them. Also, Glee has helped many gay teens and young adults feel confident in their own skin, and feel good to express themselves. The next time you want to judge Glee, watch one episode first, in its entirety, talk to one of the thousands of people who have been affected by the show, and the talent, and then feel free to judge.

    Much love,
    Glee's number one fan,

    Alexandra Scolari
